Very interesting Maida, and the pedicels and the ovaries are darker with that splash of green showing on the back of the flower! The backs of the flowers with those marking are quite unique and should help in identifying it. The only other bulbs I can think of with those extra long pedicels is Aphrodite which we know it isn't. Hopefully someone will recognize it for you.

I bought this plant several years ago from Parks, the same place I got my Madam Butterfly. It had a strange name that began with a K, but I can't remember much else. It bears a striking resemblance to Komoriya's 'Double Beacon', but I don't see how their plant could have come to the US so many years ago. It would be interesting to see if anyone has bought a "Double Beacon' and what the pedicels look like.

Maida i am no help on identifying your plant but i would like to get some pollen from it. I have about 50 plus different amarylis.
I made a cross years ago on the large white dutch amarylis with sprekelia the formosan lily or aztec lily. Enclosed my result which is the papilio amarylis.

PS i called my papilio Maribel after my wife.
This year i have about 5 more crosses.

Double Beacon bloomed for me with small to medium flowers with yellow eye and frilly petal edges. It does not have long pedicels.
That's a pretty double you got Maida.

I am a bit confused about your above message. Are you saying that the above picture of papilio is your cross between a large Dutch white and sprekelia?
We would be interested in seeing pictures of your other crosses when they bloom!
