Very cute!! How big are the flowers?

I think Sonatinis are ok in warmer zones. If you are in 8, then heavily mulch in winter and the should be fine. Only areas where ground really freezes would be a problem. If you are concerned at all, you could grow in pots and bury pots... then pull them up in late autumn. I think you should be ok with thick layer of leaves.

Very pretty flowers!!

Yes , they are very thin and graceful.
The flowers are very different for the 2 varieties .
Lollipop : 10 cm wide , and the trumpet is 7 cm long. Bulbs 4 cm in diameter !
Balentino : 9 cm wide and long.Bulbs 6 cm in diameter.
