That is lovely. I bought a papilio bulb this winter which is potted and hasn't had much growth. Hopefully it is forming roots. Perhaps there will be some growth if I bring it up to my west facing window as it is in my cool basement.

Hey Blanca had any rain lately ? :) How does your garden grow. I'm goin to Seattle begining of May for a Navy Diver's reunion, gonna try and hit local gardens.
Our spring has had a touch of summer thrown in. Last week was typically 80F, and overcast.

Oh yes. After a very dry and mild winter, spring came early last month. Crocuses and daffodils were blossoming everywhere. Then, a solid week of rain arrived and knocked down most of the taller daffodils. The sun finally returned on Sunday, and should remain all next week.

Thanks for identifying the Loquats. I was intrigued. By the way, the Rhodophiala bifidas like it here and are thriving. :-) Have a great time in Seattle. Combining a reunion with visiting local gardens sounds perfect. I have been having vivid diving dreams. It is time to plan a long warm water adventure.
