Sounds like the WalMart grab bag. Walmart sells inexpensive bulbs labeled only as "red" or "pink" - that still frequently turn out to be mislabeled.

I bought a bulb from Wally World and it showed a coral bloom. Well it bloomed this year, half the size of the rest of my Amaryllis the bulb is smaller as well as the leaves and the bloom. It is a very pretty flower, Orange with light lines in the vaines and a yellow star center with only 2 blooms. I do love and as any new color is just fine with me. The next time I plant the seeds I need to make sure they do not become snail food. Lost all my seedlings last year. So not new plants this year form over 40 seedlings.
