Amaryllis/Hippeastrum

now growth after bloom

Hi there!

I have two amaryllis that bloomed beautifully in early December. However, in spite of continuing to water after bloom once cut back after bloom, they have not developed leaves. A green step tip can be seen at the top of the bulb, but now growth. Should I just take them out of their pots and store them?

in Iowa - although this is indoor and with a southeastern exposure
