I have a viable pod of Bogota x Sweet Lilian and this is just about what I had envisioned the flowers to be!!! You beat me to it!!

This much variety from the same parents makes it painful NOT to keep every last seedling from every successful cross. How are we supposed to cope with that?!

Looks a bit along the lines of Half and Half or Opal Star. This is really fun to see all your crosses as it's dashing my ideas of what the seedlings from these crosses could be. Now you are giving reason to plant and keep every seed!!

I must say they are amazing, and the second twin... the other hippeastrum it's wonderful, it totally took the prize from its older sister.

I am so enjoying seeing your crosses! I'm just starting to make some of my own crosses and it is so much fun to learn about how the genes behave by viewing your picture journal of the process. Much more fun than reading about all the technical terms=) Thanks for sharing!

This one is from a plot marked 'unknown hybrids' so I don't have a record of the parentage, but it does have some similarities with the pattern of the second of the flowers above and I suspect they may be related.

Congrats Hippiezep and thank you for sharing! All Bogota-related seedlings interest me; I simply adore it and I've used it both ways; it has been more "giving" as the seed parent. - I have to agree with the previous posters, the second one is really something! Maybe I wasn't that off base with this year's cross Bogota x Matterhorn... Anything even faintly resembling your beauty would be a matter of pride.
