| Here is my re-blooming Opal Star..seems a bit darker than last year..if this would only bloom during Thanksgiving..what a beautiful fall centerpiece this would make! It looks just like autumn leaves...

| I "think" both Ruby Star and Opal Star have the same parentage..I stumbled on the registrations of both plants on the Internet a while back..I think you're correct, either the way you said or the other way around..not that it matters..or does it? I wonder what other beauties came from this cross that they might have rejected...:-) |

| Wow, it's beautiful, Donna, thanks for sharing it. You can definitely see some papilio in there, huh? I love the colors and the shape of the petals, AND the neat patterns and veining on the petals. Thanks for the ancestry information on it too, Josh, that's fun to know. Definitely one to add to my wish list. Thanks again for the eye candy! |
