The Winner Seedling

Hi All friends.
I want you to share my joy. I have been rewarded with a WINNER.
It is the last bloom of the season. It is strong enough to survive the sudden hot spell. While other buds are just drying up this one has bloomed.
It has two long scapes, each flower has a long stalk and is facing upward.
The flower is huge 20CM perfect in shape having 13 properly formed petals.
Last evening while it was opening it looked like a double of APPLE BLOSSOM

The plant

Last evening

This morning

I hope you like it as much as I do.
Arif

You do,indeed have a winner. It is very pretty. If it can stand the heat and low humidity, then you truly have a winner.
I have a few which stand the heat better. I have one which seems to like the heat.It is a self seedling of Pasadena.
My conditions are similar to the conditions where many of the Hippeastrum species originated,High humidity and temperature.

This is beautiful! I love the pink and the "Charisma-like" spots. Does it have a scent??

Any idea of the parentage Arif?? Lovely, just lovely!

Arif, very lovely. Is it a descendant of Lady Jane? Though it doesn't have the orange, it does have the shape I think. Nice job! Alana
