I have no experience either of them although I do have a reticulatum var. straitifolium which so far hasn't bloomed so I for one will be dying to see your flowers!!

i don't have the x parkeri, but i have 10 rooted hippeastrum silhouette, and they're all growing. the biggest mother bulb (i have 2 motherbulbs) is now growing bigger very fast(i expect that she will bloom next year), so i think i'm doing something good. i have them in my sleeping room, with bright light and i water them if the soil is almost dried uit.

Can;t wait to see a pic! Love H. reticulatum - can't grow it - but love it :)

Your link comes up as a missing file Snarfie.. Mine right now has leaves about an inch long. Cant wait for it to flower.
