Some old friends from Royal Colours (and some new friends)

My source varieties are normally ordered from Royal Colours in the Netherlands. Some of these, such as Benfica and Bogota have flowered year after year and been important agents for cross pollination (although Bogota has gone AWOL this year). Here's a retrospective look at some of this season's old faithfuls:

Rosy Star

Sonatini Pink Rascal

Siberia

Lemon star and rosy star gave very nice large clear flowers in pale lemon and pink respectively, while the Sonatini pink rascal produced a nice shower of tiny pink flowers. I tried to pollinate these with 24 different pollen donors, but all but two have so far failed. The Siberia was very prolific, with three scapes packed with flowers, but this too failed to produce seed.
