Compare it to H,Blossfeldiae.Tangerine orange,rather than very orangy.Tall, slender scape.Two flowers.Will not tolerate being buried.Will not tolerate excess moisture.Needs oxygen to roots,but probably not epiphytic..Relativly small bulbs at maturity.Readily offsets from roots.Some Striatum clones appear similar.

Have a look at the Telos site. She knows her bulbs.Keep it in mind that there are color and other variations within species.

I am in central Maine. It seems to be an old fashioned houseplant exchanged between various people around here for years. I will check out the various sites - thanks. I liked that it flowered so easily on a small young bulb.
