I think she gives them back to you. She will probably have them taken away from her at the airport. I'm not 100% certain, but I don't think you can travel to Puerto Rico with live plants, fruits or vegetables. You should do a little internet research, but I'm afraid it will be a problem and the bulbs will hit a trashcan. That would really be a shame. On the other hand, I don't think seeds are any issue at all. If you have any seeds you can give her, I think she can go through Customs and Immigration with seeds with no problem.
