San Antonio Rose

I am thrilled to announce that my San Antonio Rose is blooming!! This is from the pot of bulbs that I bought last year at the arboreatum for $7!! I think I had 28 bulbs in the pot. I've shared several bulbs (sorry they were a little dried, I had pulled them last fall with good intent to ship last fall!).

I bought a huge pot of "San Antonio" amaryllis at Maas for around $20, there were hundreds of bulbs, growing on top of each other, little ones, big ones, I divided some up and one now has a bloom. Thanks for the post! Now I will know which one is blooming in the garden. What did you order from Maguires? I bought myself a few as a reward for painting. LOL!
