From your blog it is clear that you have potted all bulbs already in bloom. Where do you grow them, till bloom? Is this potting for display only?

We started out with some in the ground...but we had so much rain we decided to put them in containers so they would not get too wet....I think we are going to try to re-make a bed on the south side of the house to try and naturalize a few different types....figure out which ones are hardy enough to make it through our Texas winters. Going to try to get a greenhouse up before it actually gets really cold :)

I am in Irving...between Dallas and Ft. worth. Not sure where spring is? How close to DFW?

They have survived here in SE Georgia and it gets to about 9 degrees below zero.
