I like this one as it is a reliable grower and flowers same time each year. I can't seem to find this name on Google search.
Anyway "Jaffa" will do.

Here is a link that might be useful: H. Jaffa

Looks a lot like my 'white x red' cross, but with a better colour. You catched it really well, the pistil and filaments look great.

Hi Marleneann,

I was just going to shoot you a picture of Jaffa and suggest that maybe you got a mislabeled bulb and then I did some more searching and came up with two entirely different versions of Jaffa. The striped picture came from EBay from an Australian seller's site and the other came from a company in Holland that sells cut flowers....I'm assuming your came from Maguires...just a little confusing...

Now, I remember this one was pictured on Maguire's website, so I'm surprised that you have the reddish one....I actually found many pictures of the striped one and several of the red one! Maybe someone out there can explain it?

No my plant was given to me by my daughter-in-law. She got it fro her mother (now passed away). That is not to say the plant didn't originally come from Maguires.

MMMmmmm...that is quite strange.
