My Dancing Queen, a relatively small bulb, surprised me by showing a scape in late summer. The scape is only 2 inches, but has produced 2 huge perfect blooms. But I fear something is wrong inside the bulb, as evidenced by the stunted scape, time will tell. In the meantime, she looks glorious in the late afternoon sun...

| Anna, Both my Dancing Queens did this same thing (very short scape) this year. I got them from WFF late last winter. They grew fine during the summer months. Keep us posted...mine don't seem to be showing any signs of problems. Kristi |
