Question about dormancy

I have a very beautiful amaryllis Gervase with 9 leaves. Do I have to wait until the leaves turn yellow and than stop watering or do I have to stop watering right now?

If you are growing it inside then you need to read the FAQ (DO NOT REPLY TO THE FAQ) to see how to force your bulb to dormancy. As long as you continue to water it in the house, it will not go dormant and will grow as an evergreen!

Is it also possible to grow it as an evergreen? Does he flower then?
