I am learning here so please be patient with me...lol...so u can hybernize single flowered with doubles right? And if so what do they come out as?

If you cross a single with a double you might get some singles and you might get some doubles. If you plant 50 seeds you might get 50 blooms that are subtly different... they won't all look alike necessarily.

Wow. Thought I was looking at Green Dragon. Are there differences between the two?

I could be wrong, but I thought the petals of my Green Dragon were more curvy. Would have to go back and look. This came from Hadeco clearly marked Jade Serpent.

On their site, Hadeco says Green Dragon is the deepest green available, and their photo of Jade Serpent looks just like my photo.

If you're asking about Green Dragon offsetting mine is splitting into two bulbs..the bulb was very small when I received it but, now it has shrunken even more!
She bloomed for me 2 years ago and has just sulked since then. I just don't have any luck with these small bulbs..clearly I must be doing something wrong.

My opinion is if you are breeding for a double green than maybe one should try pollen from Jungle Bells (if there is any). I have a Jungle Bell (or so the tag says) that has not bloomed. I would think her pollen on any of these smaller greens might produce some (dare I say) double flowers in some shade of green!?
Unfortunately the timing won't be right if my Jungle Bells does bloom and there is some pollen to donate some to someone with a small green that is blooming. I'll let you all know when and if my Jungle Bells does bloom, but don't hold your breath!

I've misplaced my golf ball so am using a medium grape to show just how small Green Dragon is!
