The stripes run up the back. I have loads of seedlings that have red stripes up the back... They are Donna's eBay #1 and 2 crosses. I also think my Rosado crosses have color up the back of the leaves too.

Yes stripes are on the back. Interesting that a lot of your seedlings have this. I also have some of Donna's eBay crosses, and for me those have no stripes.

Here's the one that might be San Antonio Rose:

Will have a better idea when it blooms.

Do your other plants with striped leaves share similar flower characteristics? I'm curious what parentage gives the striping.

Who knows where it came from..
eBay #2 x tinkerbell, rosado x pap, exotica x ruby myer all have red stripe on back of leaves. These are young seedlings and doing well.

I think the leaves of seedlings that will end up with dark blooms have more coloration.

Thanks for the info on which of yours exhibit stripes. Can't wait to see what this one looks like when it blooms!

I know that there are photos of San Antonio Rose posted on this forum as we had a conversation about how you would describe the color red.
