OK...I have been trying to figure out this SPLASH of color effect for a week, and finally stumbled onto it!! You just make one item color and the rest is grey scale!! This is still my all time fav photo!!

Also, had to make by Gordie self (genetic refresher course) into a NEON pic!! Thanks for the inspiration Lizalily!

The first photo could be easily mistaken as untouched... except for the "white" pollen... I love that photo!

Photoshop has some interesting effects... it's quite a cool program! I played with some hippi pictures the year before last, I believe it was... I made Sweet Lilian look like a painting, and I placed her under plastic wrap... cool stuff!

Thanks, Kristi!

Oh....another idea for SPLASH....a grey scale photo except for the yellow pollen!! I hope to get more photos of my cute little green frogs! Maybe they'll take up residence in the greenhouse.

Nice photos Kristi. I miss the frogs in the winter.

Yes, very nice.
I had a large toad stay in one amaryllis pot all last winter. Must have come in when I brought the plants in in the fall. One or twice he moved to a different pot, but mostly just stayed put. Nice to have a little life around.
