I do not know exactly how much will be 44 degrees Fahrenheit to Celsius, but I know it must be stored for at least 2-3 months. But you also do not know - how long the bulbs are stored until you receive them.

I am only thinking of keeping them for another month in the cold. Not long term. Also, all were purchased preped for blooming and had been in cold storage or (BIG OR!) dug up in South America where they thought it was spring, so they are ready to bloom... and the cool will just delay it. I'm not attempting to prep anything for blooming, but trying to put blooms "on hold".

You can store them in the refrigerator at positive temperature in the month if the bulbs are dry. If they are moisturized - stagonospora will get sick.

Just checked; humidity in the refrigerator is only 40%. That's much lower than outside or even in the house. That's the beauty of the fridge not having a freezer compartment...no drips from ice melting. They should be fine.
