| Hi Guys, I have several amaryllis that have lost their leaves and have been cleaned of soil and I have dusted them entirely with captan and I'm wondering if if will hurt the roots if they get covered also? Does it keep them from breathing for their rest period or should I wash the captan off the roots?? I know you guys will know the answer!!! Thanks!!! Donna |

| I'm not really sure if it matters or not... I don't bother to dust the roots, myself. I just dust the bulb, and especially at the juncture of bulb and basal plate... or at any raw flesh/bruise areas. Anyone else? |
