What species do you seem to have problems with typically?

My best advice would be to keep them in an area with great circulation, use fans if you have to and try to keep them quite dry. The best method of handling the RED DEATH is prevention, as a second line of defense I would use a fungicide frequently.

When do you typically move the plants indoors? When you bring in moist plants from outdoors and there isn't any air circulation this creates a very susceptible environment for red blotch.

The two most susceptible are H. blossfeldiae & reticulatum var. striatifolium. They are inside now and I have an overhead fan running constantly to provide good air circulation but that dang S.C. still gets them. I usually move them indoors around late September into October, depending on how chilly and wet it gets in Cambridge MA (Zone 6b maritime). I grow a fairly good number of other amaryllids (clivia, cyrtanthus, phaendranassa and stenomesson) and they seem to respond to this method cuz they flower right on cue. I just want to keep the S.C. in check so that it doesn't distort the plant and future blooms.
