Hi All, I was downstairs this morning and was fortunate enough to see this plant flowering off in a corner. I got around 8 seed of this Hippeastrum psittacinum 10 years ago and only 1 survived and has remained in the same pot ever since. It is a 5 inch shallow plastic pot that is being badly deformed by the bulb at this point, but I have no plans on repotting since it apparently is OK despite the long time to first bloom so why fiddle. I'm sure the way better growers here would do better with it, but I'm just happy to see this beauty bloom for the first time. Hope you guys enjoy it :o) Dan
