The clay pot and saucer alone is worth the $2. Maria, I am impressed that you could walk past and leave them there.

We don't have Kroger up here either, this is Wegmans territory. I do love Wegmans, but they only have the box kits with plastic pots, only three varieties, and still full price.

Lowes here finally marked down the fancy kits, so you might want to check yours. Tuesday I bought three of the ceramic kits with two closed-bud scapes showing on each bulb. $4 each (60% off). Yesterday they were almost all sold and gone. I thought I'd give away two and keep one, but after talking to the intended recipients I've realized that neither of them wants another houseplant right now. Now I have to decide whether to return them or keep them for myself.

I love Kroger! Well, it's actually called Payless but Kroger owns it, they just kept the original name as this is a small town and people flip out over change!

Galveston & TX city both have Fanfare and Top Choice today. Planted in a plastic pot sitting in a clay pot, no saucers. $7.99, $6.99 w/ shopping card. I need to call the one in Dickinson & see what they have.

Just came home from the Kroger in Spring, and all they had left were Fanfare and Top Choice. I have all the ones mentioned previously except Top Choice, and just don't need/want another red. $6.99 in plastic pot set inside a clay pot. Most would be ready to bloom in a few days.
