Magic Green... A bit disappointing

Here's my Magic Green without any special treatment. I'm a little disappointed in it. This probably is just exactly what it's supposed to look like, but the shape and color are a little underwhelming.

I'll get a better photo tonight, but it just doesn't strike me as fantastic.
Did I expect too much??

Not too bad, at least it looks healthy. Mine has quite a way to go so I'll post here when it does bloom.

If I remember correctly, in the past Blanca posted a really pretty picture of her Magic Green..(it has since been removed though). I always thought Magic Green couldn't hold a candle to Rembrandt Van Rijn but since that's not available nowadays I guess this might be second best...

Hey K, what do you mean without any special treatment? I guess none of mine get what I think of as special treatment (no extra time for much more than water and occasional fert), but just curious to what you do? I've been off the forums for 18 months for the most part so likely way behind the times. The bloom looks pretty enough to me :o) Dan

Oh Dan... I meant just a blah background (Havahart trap and bird cage). Since I don't have the scenic window views that others have, a black background is my std. That photo is an iPhone pic.
