| That's exactly how my Vesuvius bloomed when I first got it! It was obviously stressed, the bulb was very small, and since that time I've re-potted it into better medium and cared for it well. The bulb has grown a bit in girth, and I'm hopeful of spring blooms. Sometimes, bulbs will show signs of stress like this. I simply give them a good regimen of care, and allow them to readjust to this hemisphere and a natural bloom cycle. Yours looks like a Hadeco variety, as is my Vesuvius.
