OMG, Kristi, you do have loads of hippis! Are these all purchased plants or they also include seedlings/divisions etc of your own?
Does it benefit the bulbs in any way if you grow them 10 to the pot? I've heard some plants love companionship?
Could you please tell more about how you store your bulbs in the fridge?
It's a lovely Thanksgiving cactus you got there - one of the less common ones. I'm a big fan of schlumberegera and have even crossed Samba Brasil with a white large-flowered NOID (in the picture below)- both plants have set pods - 8 and 9 respectively.

The pots with 10 bulbs were a recent gift and are 18"+.

Thanks for the clarification... Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter cactus. I know they are different!

I have a new one that is more salmon colored. Yours is lovely. Of the 400 pots, probably 300 are named hybrids and the other 100 are my creations and many crosses that were just given to me by another Hippi lover.

I have a separate fridge where bulbs only are kept at 45 degrees.

what bulbs, how long and for what purposes do you store in the fridge? Don't your temps outside go down low enough? Or you want a controlled environment? Do you force them that way?
