Royal Colors has updated their web site with several new varieties. They have some new large varieties as well as some species under Specials. They have one that I really wanted - Santos. I have some crosses from it I bought several years ago and the leaves have a white stripe down the middle. This comes from Santos and I think that it opens up the possibility of having variegated leaf amaryllis.

I would love to try a Santos but our credit card has been hacked into and until we get this mess straightened out there will be no more on line purchases unless they take Paypal which I don't believe they do...boo hoo....

Thanks Maida! It was too much to resist. And they are selling species bulb as well: H. equestre (puniceum), H. vittatum, and H. roseum (which is probably not a true species). Notice that the price is for three bulbs for each of these three offerings. Could this be a mistake? I have been interested in 'Tres Chic' and 'Santiago', so I ordered these as well.
