There are a predetermined number of scapes in these bulbs and If you cut the head (bud) of one, it won't grow another for that particular scape. If it sends out more scapes, they were already inside the bulb.

In most cases, the answer is 'nothing'.

Most of the kit bulbs, like the one you bought will only give you 1-2 scapes. Scapes are the long stalk with the bud at the end. If you cut it off, you lose those 4+ blooms.
