Can you explain to me what it's like to register a hybrid? How much it costs, the procedures, etc?

My case was unique because I was working with the people at Ludwig. You can download the forms and it tells you what you need to do. I sent the completed application along with 29 very distinct photographs. You can also email KAVB and they will help you if you don't understand something. I will warn you not to expect much correspondace between Feb and May as that is their peak time and they are working directly with all of the bulb growers in The Netherlands on their registrations, and they have priority over individuals wanting to register a few bulbs. They will get back to you, but it won't be as prompt as they have other priorities. As part of the process they will also request that you send a bulb to grow out in their test gardens.

As far as cost, I really/honestly can't tell you what it cost for an individual to register a bulb. Again, my case was different than most since the developer of the bulb (Ludwig) was letting me register and name it.
