Since I was downstairs taking pics I couldn't help but take some pics of this fella as well even though I have lots of them and have posted before. Sort of like a big orange paint brush :o) Dan

I love those mottled purple and lime bracts bearing the glorious inflorescence; surrounded by glossy ruffled leaves!

Thanks, I love this one because it is so easy to grow. I tried to get the white flowering one for 2 years but the person who had it in CA could never find a time to ship when it was dormant and we were above freezing....I was bummed to not get it, but if any one out in southern CA can help me out in getting that one I would be incredibly grateful :o) Dan

Dan, I'd never seen a photo of one taken from that angle and always thought, eh, feh, hmm, it's okay no biggie on my wish list. Now, NOW! seeing that it really doesn't look like a flat paint brush, I WANT ONE!!!! You now move to the top of the enabler list my friend!

Chaz, yeah, the only problem with these is they seem to grow when they want and not when I want!! :o) Dan
