Yeh, Ryan, it is a lot to take in and a lot to process at the darkest time of year. I do try to look at the good things around me but sometimes it is hard after so many dreams of abundant beauty have been dahsed. Just hope i can save a bit of each bulb though I figure it will be nip and tuck on some of them. There are at least 2 I have had to throw totally away.

I do have bout a dozen of this years purchases ready to burst into bloom and looking good so at least there will be something to keep me feeling rewarded for my work. Well, the solstice will be here so soon and the sun will return!

Shirley May is blooming, or was. I had to cut the flower in order to clean up the bulb for fear I would loose it all if I waited. It sure is a pretty flower1 (Photo later today). I think that finishes the clean up for now, unless some continue rotting instead of recovering.
