hey, im new to keeping cichlids (not other fish though) and when i got my cichlid and put him in my 20L tank he is chasing himself b/c my glass has a strong reflection on it. I do not know exactly what kind of cichlid he is but hes( or she) is about 2"- 2 1/2" and is a yellow with brownish lines going down his side. also his bottom back fin is all white(idk if that helps). he was in the assorted cichlids tanks. i have a cave like rock in the middle that he doesnt seem to go by at all and just swims by the edges. he is the only cichlid in their right now and i also have an algae eater that is his size. does anybody know how to reduce the reflection?? and can he hurt himslef? or will he get used to it and stop chasing it?--thanks for replies and suggestions
