Replacing female Angel fish

I've recentley lost a femalae angel I have had 2 years. I lucked out and had a breeding pair however I've never raised the fry. I am wondering if I should get the male a companion or if he is gonna be aggressive to a new fish. Any suggestions?

in my experience I guess it depended on the fish. Sometimes some of my angels have been more aggressive than others. Depends too on the size of the tank.

On first intro, I've found there's always a bit of chasing (big chasing small), but after a few days they all settle down.

Before I introduce a new fish, I rearrange some of the plants and rocks. The existing fish will be too busy dealing with the new setup.

Good Luck!
