I'm noticing the my goldfish is resting on the bottom of the tank on the gravel more and more. Is this normal? Could it be that now that I have moved her into the 20 gallon tank over a week ago, that she gets more exercise and therefore needs more rest?

Or could she be starting to suffer from the high nitrites (1.6+) that I'm still battling for over 3 weeks now. I keep doing small water changes daily. Yesterday I did a larger water change of 30%. My god.. how long is this nitrite thing going to last... I wonder how long my fish can hang in there. There doesn't seem to be any signs of nitrite poisoning.. not sure if resting on the bottom is one of them.

Here's a picture of her resting, actually laying on the gravel. As soon as I walk up to her she will start swimming around.
