Red spots on Mollies Cheeks

I want to thank everyone for helping in the past. So here comes another question. We have 2 mollies out of all of them that seem to get tail rot everytime my husband adds water to the tank. We now know how to deal with that but now the same 2 fish have red spots where their cheeks should be. Are they sick with something else now? I just do not want to jeopardize the rest of the tank if these 2 are going to be sick all the time. These fish are supposed to be my husband's deal but for some reason I am always asking questions. Oh well.

Take a water sample down to your local aquarium shop. Have them test the water before you do any treatment.
