Co2 Tank, planted aquarium

I currently have a homemade Co2 system(reactor and diffuser). I used to play paint ball a while ago and i have some Co2 tanks that i am not using. Can i use those tanks with a regulator to add Co2 into the aquarium? If so do you know of any extra parts i may need?

You can use it if you can find a regulator that will fit. Most of the regulators for those tanks are flow regulators not pressure regulators which means that you will constantly have to adjust it as the pressure decreases. I tried it and found it to be a PITA compared to my big CO2 tank. However, maybe there are new regulators out there now that didn't exist when I tried a few years ago.
