Bio-wheel question

hannah

I'll be moving from PA to FLA in July.

I have a small 30-gallon tank now that houses only 2 fancy goldfish.

Before making the final move down, I'll be purchasing a bigger tank...possibly a 75-gallon. (???)

My question is: Can I safely remove my present bio-wheel and put in a new one so that it remains populated by bacteria?

If so, how should I store the old one...besides in plastic with some of the tank water.

Should it go in the fridge or what? LOL
