New to the Forum--saying hi!

Hello all,

I've been a member of GardenWeb for a while, and only just discovered the aquariums forum. Fish have been a lifelong hobby for me--I've had them since I was 5 or 6. Currently I have a 25 gallon community tank, a 29 gallon community, 2 10-gallons (one with guppies and one with a betta, a few guppies, and a snail), and 2 5-gallons (one with a betta and one with some guppy fry). My fish include angels, German blue rams, bettas, guppies, cardinals, harlequins, botia kubotai, and a bristlenose pleco. I also enjoy crayfish and snails, and have successfully bred guppies, angelfish, zebra danios, and snails.

Looks like a good group of folks, and I'm glad to have found you. :-)

Welcome! I've always loved Guppys and Bettas. I had 8 fishtanks in our basement when I was a kid, mostly for breeding bubblenest builders, livebearers, and a couple types of easy Cichlids.

Welcome aboard. I've been a fish keeper for more years than many forum members have been alive [1963]. I have an 130 gal indoor pond that is being overrun with breeding guppies. I got a half beak to try to cull the guppy nation but he also ate all my cardinals. Nothing relaxes me more than tinkering in the garden or the fishtanks.

Totally agree with you James. I love my plants and I love my fish--don't know what I'd do without either one.
