Zero. Both Dwarf Puffers & Dwarf Frogs consider Guppies extremely tasty.

Deifnately, the dwarf puffers will eat them. I have dwarf frogs and guppies in a 25 gallon tank...I use it to raise my baby guppies and have never had trouble with the frog eating any of the guppies. Maybe I am just lucky?!

I also have two dwarf frogs in a tank with several guppies.
They seem to be doing fine together. I have had 9 guppies with them for several months. One of them has had a bite taken out of it's tail by somthing...but I couldn't say for sure if it was a dwarf frog or another fish.
Bottom line..none of them have dissapeared...even with the two frogs.

Oh..and it's a 10 gallon tank that I have. Forgot to mention.

Our daughter came home from camp last summer with two guppies. They had 8 Fry and the two adults died during the winter. The 8 Fry have propogated greatly. We have a 5 gallon tank and love the fish but they keep having Fry. We probably have 30 fish now. Will they just keep propogating. I am not sure if our daughter can handle more than a 5 gallon tank. It has been great for her. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance

Guppys and Puffers and Frogs... oh my! What a mishmash of critters and growing conditions! Given enough time, the Puffers will do the Guppys in. Puffers are brackish, while the others are fresh. They all really should be in separate habitats.

Wiley Gardener: If it were me, I would buy some live plants and let the fish do their thing. My best friend and me each had small fishtanks with Guppys and just let them breed. It was fun watching the cycle of life.

thanks for your comment. I think I will do just that. I have plants and thought the adults would eat enough of the fry to handle the population, but the population is growing. I think we will watch for now. The kids really enjoy the cycle of life as you put it. has made for some great conversation.
