They are FedEx'ed overnight and they guarentee they live for 14-days. Thay may not have the snake-fish you had but thats a place to start. Hi there, Thank you for the info...I went to Drs. Foster Smith and they have something that looks ideantical to what I had.Dojo loach or Misgurnus anguillicaudatus. Yes the weather loaches are cool. I think I have one in my 150 gal tank. I thought he died but while cleaning the ug filter he suddenly dashed out of the gravel. I haven't seen him for about 2 months.

I have read about many loaches being skittish unless kept in groups of at least 3. If you want to see more of your guy, read at loaches.com to see if getting him some buddies would help.

He was missing for 2 months? hehehe that guy sure fooled you. Oh the one I had growing up was missing all the time. It was so fun playing hide and seek with him....hehehe
