Your minnow should do fine. Do you know what species it is?

Most minnows appreciate a good current, so if you're set up with a powerhead or two, all the better. Fish are individuals, and different species behave differently. Try some different foods, perhaps flake, frozen brine shrimp and frozen bloodworms to start. Some fish will only take live food. All you can do is experiment and observe.

All of your fish are cyprinids, or members of the carp/minnow family.
