I just purchased a pair of orange nymph goldfish for my 20 gallon tank which also houses a pair of paradise fish, some China barbs and WCM minnows. The goldfish got nipped by the paradise fish (some torn but not trimmed fins) so i removed them and have placed them in an outdoor pond for the time being. I was told that "regular" goldfish like these, unlike fancier types, should be fine with pardise fish, is that true or is it best to keep them apart? Is it possible to put the goldfish back in the tank when they get a bit larger? Would the paradise leave the goldfish alone in time or keep harassing them? They are currently the same size as the paradise fish, about 3 inches.
