What kind of cichlids.Did you start with a complete new tank.Did you Keep any of your old water how about your old gravel.You must have some exotics as they will give up sometimes in a new fresh enviroment.I would say at this point there is nothing you can do maybe a couple will live.Your new tank is just to clean and is lacking good bacteria and algea that your fish have been adjusted too.I am assuming you have done all your basic test My experiance is If I have a good established african tank and I move it they will die.maybe some one will have better advice good luck.

We need to know more information. Did you just put in a new filter with mew filter media? If so, then you are experiencing what the above poster has alluded to - "New Tank Syndrome". If not, a couple deaths could have led to more ammonia than the tank could handle and thus poisoned the fish. I would try siphoning out a good 25% of the water, from the bottom, as a start.
