Can Betta's and Guppies be kept in the same tank? and will my power wheel "hang on the back" filter disrupt their nest building, due to the water flow on the surface ..the tank is a 35 Gal

Thanks
Big Al

RE: Betta's and Guppies

I've kept them in the same tank but i doubt bettas will breed [the guppies will]. If you can put something in the tank that insures a section with not too much water movement they will build a nest. I use a large vertical piece of driftwood that reaches the top of the water level that workes good.
