I had in my 29 gallon tank two good size snails...I don't know what kind but bought them at PetSmart.

Well, they seemed to be dead, so without removing them just in case they were having a long nap, I bought three more.

Suddenly I had 5 quite lively snails and lovely clean aquarium walls... now I'm concerned about them having enough to eat! I give them lettuce and I throw in Algae Thins about 3 pellets a day (is that enough?) and of course they may partake of left over fish food...but as there are now 5 of them....what else should I do?

I once starved 2 snails to death...or at least it was thought that that was why they died as there were no other deaths and I never put salt in the water....so I'm paranoid about it.

Please advise.
