here's my question as I have never done this before. I plan soon to feed brine shrimp to my guppies ...do I rinse them first as I don't want to add salt to the tank and what do I do with the left overs, can I freeze them , put them in a cooler ????

Also do any of you use salt in the water for guppies ?

thanks

Big Al

RE: the feeding of Brine shrimp

You can rinse the brine if you want. You can freeze what you don't use right away. If you have alot left over you can find ice cube tray to fill and this might make it easier. If you don't have live plants in the tank you can use salt. When I was breeding gupplies I used salt and other live foods. Others here will probally say not to use salt or live foods.
