Now for the rest of the story........

Over a month ago my granddaughter won a goldfish at a school's Fall Festival. She wanted me to help her keep it so we bought a Mini-Bow 5 gallon aquarium and I thought I had done a good thing. Till I came here, that is, and realized that 5 gallons was too small. However, the fish soon died within a few weeks and I was left with an empty tank. I allowed it to run and to complete cycle so that I could get another fish. The cycle completed and the aquarium was stable so decided it was time for a new fish.

I wanted to get some live plants but decided to just go with some silk plants for now. I must admit that the betta is a joy to watch with room to move!!! I never appreciated their beauty and personality till now. That little guy has the best time exploring. And he looks so cute sleeping in his rock cave.

I just wanted to say "THANK YOU" to all the people who post help to everyone here because it truly is a valuable service.

If you see anything wrong with what I'm doing please feel free to speak out.

pH: 7.4 - 7.6

Ammonia & Nitrites = 0
Nitrates = 10

Temp: 78

Food: Hikari Bio-Gold pellets (which he readily accepts)

Again, thanks to everyone here. I never knew a fish could be so much fun!

Judy
