Actually what you have is a Serpae tetra with partial albinism. Hybridazation between pristellas and serpae tetras is not posible because they come from completley different genera. Hybridazation can only happen with related animals of the same genera.

That's very interesting Raul, I didn't think of albinism. Its colour is very washed out. When I bought it I told the girl to throw it back because it was not a pristella, but she said yes it is. It was just chance that I have serpaes too and noticed the similarity. They also have a little "twitch" body movement they make (if you have serpaes you will know what I mean) and this one does it too. Anyway I like it, I'm not mad it got it or anything. It must be young because the serpaes are much bigger still.
